Privacy Policy

Sabil is a verified marketplace for buying, selling, and leasing businesses in Lebanon, the UAE, and across the MENA region. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights.

Account data: name, email address, phone number, and country when you register.

Listing data: business name, sector, financials, location, and description provided by sellers or landlords. Business names are kept confidential and are not shown publicly.

Identity verification: government-issued ID documents processed by Veriff for KYC/AML compliance. We do not store the raw document images.

Transaction data: offer amounts, LOI terms, and deal stage information associated with your account.

Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps collected automatically.

Communications: messages sent between users through the platform, and support enquiries.

• To operate the platform — matching buyers and sellers, processing NDAs and LOIs, facilitating consultations.
• To send transactional notifications via email and WhatsApp (e.g. NDA signed, offer received, booking confirmed). You can opt out of WhatsApp notifications in your account settings.
• To verify your identity and comply with applicable AML regulations.
• To process payments for platform fees via Stripe.
• To improve the platform and detect fraud or abuse.

We share data only as necessary to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database and authentication, hosted in the EU.
• DocuSign — NDA and agreement signing.
• Veriff — identity verification.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Meta (WhatsApp Business API) — transactional WhatsApp notifications. Your phone number is shared with Meta solely for message delivery.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law (e.g. financial records for 7 years).

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sabil-partners.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies.

We will notify registered users by email of material changes to this policy. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. For users in the UAE, applicable UAE data protection regulations also apply.
